A new innovation that can take a hit: the G-Sandwich Reducer withstands even the harshest vibrations

Sebert Group introduces the G-Sandwich Reducer: a groundbreaking solution for industries that deal with extreme conditions like shocks, vibrations, high temperatures and corrosion. This innovation ensures optimal protection of sensitive equipment, even in the most demanding environments.

Resilient under pressure

Engineered for situations where there’s zero room for error, the G-Sandwich Reducer absorbs up to 90% of peak G-forces. This is essential in sectors such as defense, aerospace, offshore and heavy transport. Built from stainless steel and aluminum components with a unique wire rope design, the system effectively isolates vibrations and absorbs shocks. With an operating range from -70°C to +500°C and resistance to oils, chemicals and UV exposure, it’s made to perform in extreme environments.

Easy integration

Each reducer is tailored to its specific application: from lightweight units of just a few grams to heavy-duty models weighing hundreds of kilos. Its modular design allows seamless integration into existing systems with minimal modifications. On top of that, it requires little maintenance and has a proven lifespan of over 10 years.

Proven performance

The G-Sandwich Reducer has been tested according to NATO standard AECTP 400, with simulations including:

  • 9 months of maritime transport
  • 30,000 km of train vibrations
  • 4,800 km of truck vibrations
  • 6,000 km of combined on- and off-road use

In collaboration with One Display Solution, the product’s performance was demonstrated in a live test. Without the reducer, equipment showed damage within three minutes and even started smoking. With the reducer in place, the same setup remained stable for hours under intense shock and vibration.

From defense to production halls

The G-Sandwich Reducer has many use cases. In military vehicles, it protects critical electronics. In aerospace, it ensures reliable avionics. Offshore installations benefit from its resilience in rough seas. And in industrial machinery or transport equipment, it extends the life of vital components.
